Speckles 2.0

SPECKLES is ready for fun! She's a 9 month old 26 pound bundle of mixed breed joy. She appears to be a Blue Heeler (Australian Cattle Dog) mix. We aren't sure what other breeds are in the mix, possibly another herding breed or two. She has a beautiful medium-length coat and a cute little bobtail. Speckles is a friendly outgoing girl who makes friends quickly. She loves to run and play and loves to cuddle. Herding breed dogs are smart and energetic. Speckles is best suited to an active home where she will get plenty of exercise and attention. Speckles has settled in seamlessly with the other dogs in her foster home. We have not had the opportunity to fully test her with kitties but she ignores kitties when out for walks. If you'd like to meet Speckles, please fill out a dog adoption application at dreamhouserescue.org. We are happy to arrange a private meet with an approved adopter. You can meet Speckles at our weekly adoption event, Saturday noon-2 at PetSmart Eastgate. All of our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care. Our adoption fee covers the dog’s veterinary care, including spay/neuter surgery, vaccines, microchip, deworming, flea and tick prevention, heartworm prevention and any other needed veterinary care. A deposit is required to take a dog home for a trial period. The deposit will be applied to the dog’s final adoption fee.
