We've just rescued Spanky from a shelter in northern Kentucky, so we don't know a whole lot about him yet. The people at the shelter describe him as a super-nice dog, really sweet, who gets along with everybody. We'll know more once we meet him! Spanky is fully up-to-date with his vaccinations and has been neutered.
UPDATE 9/15. Spanky arrived at his new foster home on Saturday. His foster mom reports that he has made himself right at home, getting along well with her resident pack. She says, "he listens and responds, has a pleasant personality, good sense of himself, plays, and will be an easy dog to train....He's the sort of resilient dog who can take a lot of issues from other dogs and not even get miffed about it. And he's very friendly with me: likes to literally hold me around the neck with his front legs and give me kisses. Kind of hard to pry those legs off. Again, anyone would think I'd had him since he was a pup. Should adjust great to his forever home in absolutely NO time!"
