Sophie is happy, curious and confident. She loves to be held and cuddled; so devoted is Sophie to snuggling that when a welcoming human lap is unavailable, she carefully pulls pillows and blankets over herself, and nestles in a cozy burrow of her own creating.
Sophie has an out-going nature and a wonderfully self-assured personality. She bounds about happily with the dogs in her foster home, engaging them in play and encouraging them in her favorite game - tug of war - in which her stout, short little body strikes the determined posture of an Olympiad.
Her eye contact is very direct and steady; Sophie is capable of great focus for a puppy. Her breed combination seems to have endowed Sophie with the best of all things - confidence, stability, gentle sweetness, and a capacity to bond devoutly with people. Her joyful outlook and openness give her an innocence and vulnerability; in Sophie's happy world there are no limits to love or kibble, and everyone is her friend.
