SONORA is a very young 1 1/2 year-old Maltese/Poodle mix that grew up in a family. Her family was not used to having a dog and tended to keep her locked or caged. Thus, she does not enjoy memories of that time. In the company of people SONORA is absolutely sweet, friendly and eager to please. She would love to spend hours on end with her special persons. This young dog will benefit from some brush up obedience classes. These classes are good for dog and owner and are not expensive. It is possible to hire a private trainer or to sign up for classes at a large pet emporium. SENORA does not shed and will be welcomed into a home with allergy suffers. She does need to be groomed to maintain a healthy coat. The cost of grooming every 4-6 weeks is $50 or $600 a year. SONORA, is one sensitive girl who bonds easily and is a pleasure to be around. This puppy was purchased for a lofty fee and abandoned to the shelter when it became evident that having a dog took some work. Thank goodness she has another chance for the good life. This munchkin is going to light up the eyes and heart of her new special family.

This pet is spayed or neutered in accordance with our strict policy wherein all animals are altered prior to adoption. This pet is dewormed, current on vaccines, and started on monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives.
