Sonoma-- Great!

She is gorgeous! Sonoma is a purebred Labrador Retriever rescued by CARES from Animal Control when her time was up. She is between 18-24 months old and weighs about 60#. She was pregnant when she was rescued and gave birth to 13 adorable puppies on 8/5/2008. They all survived and she was a very good mom.

Sonoma loves everyone! She just cannot get enough attention from visitors. She steals their hearts immediately! She would be a great companion for a family.

She gets along with other dogs and cats. She enjoys playing with other dogs. She is protective of her food or high-value toys with other dogs, so if you have another dog in the family, you’ll need to be aware of this. It’s not a big deal, but you need to be aware of it.

Sonoma loves to be cuddled, she is so fun to just hug and snooze with. She is just such a wonderful girl. Very bright, obedient, loving. She is house trained and crate trained, although she hasn’t been crated in some time, so that isn’t really necessary.

This dog's adoption fee is $250 (plus tax). This includes being spayed/neutered, current on Rabies (if over 4 months old), Distemper, and Bordetella vaccinations, wormed, microchipped with the HomeAgain microchip, heartworm tested (if over 7 months old) and medicated during the heartworm season (May-Dec) while in our care, comes with a Gentle Leader headcollar (if the fee ends in a 5), and is currently learning Basic Obedience commands and good doggie manners.
