Soloman and Ramzi

Solomon and Ramzi arrived in Arizona on June 6 after a 5 day cross country trip. We can always use donations to help cover the cost of their transport. They are two senior giant schnauzer males that were dropped at a kill shelter in central Virginia. Their owner was moving and couldn't take them with him. These two boys are devoted to each other and have been together all of their lives. They will not be separated. They are now in North Carolina at a kennel until a home is found for them. They will be extremely well taken care of there since the owner of the kennel is very fond of giants. These boys ride well in a car but are not much use to walking on a leash. They are very gentle with people and each other. They have harsh coats which make them easy to care for. They are happy boys whose nubby tails wag nonstop. Even though they are seniors, they are full of energy. They only barked in the car to alert or when one of the two was out on a walk without the other one. They gave kisses to their transporters and loved having their chins scratched. They appear to be in great health and we will be getting more info about that and will post it here.

Do you have the space for two senior gentlemen giants in your home and your heart? These guys would love to fulfil that role. Senior giants are particularly wonderful to adopt. They are forever grateful that someone gave them a place to rest their heads and give you love. These guys are doing fine where they are now. They are listed as special needs only because of their age. They are very special indeed. I will check with the kennel and see about house training. I know they do get to stay inside the home on some days.
