My Story

This special boy has a penchant for frisbees, plushes, squeaky toys... any toys really! All the toys! Play?... Yes, please, says Soapy! Look at those big, sweet eyes calling out to you! Soap Box is adorable and sweet but nervous initially because he came from a home with many, many animals and he just wasn't exposed to the outside world very much. But he's slowly learning about all the things in the world! And he's made a lot of growth regarding his confidence level while here with us at the shelter. He's even walked on leash on a trail in our back woods, with the support of his best dog-friend Leslie! Soap Box is only around 45 lbs. and he's definitely shorter than your average Boxer. He's big on play and tons of affection from friends, though! He is also absolutely skilled at play bows and the mini zoomies. An expert, really. Soap Box may be able to live successfully with another dog, pending a dog meeting here at the shelter to ensure personalities might be a match. We don't know how he would do with a cat. He's looking for an adult-only home (teens might be okay) with a fenced yard. If you're interested in adopting this bundle of fun, call the shelter at (603) 472-3647 and press 1 for adoptions to schedule an appointment to meet him!
