Snuggly Sonja

This absolutely adorable pint sized sweet girl is Sonja. She is such a tender girl and longing to find a a warm, peaceful, snuggly home to call her own. She came into rescue when we received a call for help from a house with a hoarding situation. Volunteers immediately went on site and began helping to clean and care for animals as foster homes were found. Thankfully a super loving foster home was happy to welcome this adorable little girl into their family until her forever home is found! Sonja is healthy and just such a wonderful girl. She is 4 years old and currently weighing a healthy 12 lbs! She has gone to the vets and had all of her medical work completed, this includes vaccines, deworming, microchipping, flea/tick/heartworm preventative, she’s heartworm tested negative and she is now spayed! She is a healthy, scruffy little darling and she’s ready to begin the next chapter of her life! This girl came into foster care and was so confused and nervous after having such a negligent home life, and then moving into a totally new place with new animals and a new lifestyle. In a matter of days it became clear that she was adjusting so beautifully, and so unbelievably grateful! She is loving having food available so she graze whenever she’s hungry! She’s enjoying beds, toys, soft plush blankets, and humans who are gentle and sweet to her. She is so happy to have the opportunity to sleep in bed with her humans now, and she is blossoming into such a joyful girl! She went from being pretty shut down and shy on day one, to being all tail wags when her humans come home! She’s longing for affection and attention, and is truly becoming a shining star. Sonja is doing wonderfully on her walks and going potty outside! She’s so comfortable in the house, and gets along well with the kitty in the house! Her dream is to find parents who are gentle, easy going, snuggly and sweet. She would love parents who would like a doting lap dog who can accompany them on car rides or errands, be by their side at home, and give her the opportunity to soak up all the love she missed out on before being rescued. This girl is a fabulous, scruffy, sweet, super adorable, loving companion and she can’t wait to find parents to call her own!
