Snowy River

Meet Snowy River! Snowy River is a one year old German Shepherd/Lab/Husky mix who is ready to find a family of his own, where he can be loved and learn new skills! He is a very sweet boy who is coming out of his shell more and more each day! He can be a little anxious due to the change of being an outside dog to life in a shelter but with patience and love he is thriving. He has not had much experience in a home, but he has worked on some basic skills such as guidance with potty training and leash training and has done quite well! A physical fenced in yard will be required for him. Proper introductions to all family members including dogs and children, will be needed to make sure its a great fit. Kiddos 12 and up would be best, as he can still be nervous around fast movements or loud noises. We are requiring another dog in the home to help him build his confidence. He has not yet been introduced to a cat, but we are happy to test him for you if yhere is a feline family member that resides in the home. Once Snowy has the chance to acclimate to his surroundings, he does have a good amount of energy and loves to run and play. He would love to have an active family to show him what it is like to be a dog. A patient family that would take him on new adventures once he is brave enough would be a dream come true!
