Snoopy

Snoopy is an adorable, sweet Male Old English Sheep Dog mix. 8 weeks old. He will be a medium size dog. His mom is about 60 lbs. There were about 20 dogs where he was born a pretty crowded situation. As is often the case he came out looking mostly one breed - Sheep Dog. The 2nd picture is a pure breed Sheep Dog NOT SNOOPY so you can compare with SNOOPY. All herding dogs like Border Collies, Heelers, and Sheep Dogs are very smart. Sheep Dogs are more laid back, calmer, more easy going than Border Collies and Heelers. Herding instincts are present in this breed, but can be a regular couch potato when nothing is happening - like when you are working on your computer or watching TV. They don't always agitate to be doing something like some dogs. They make a great family companion, this breed is friendly and his endearing personality will be sure to steal your hearts. Can be protective of their territory and family, but is rarely used as a watchdog, or guard dog as the Old English Sheepdog is very affectionate. They are vven-tempered and faithful, the Old English Sheepdog has quite a presence about him. Excellent in a family environment, this breed does regularly bump, or sometimes push trying to herd the family. Great child's companion, and a wonderful teddy bear like appearance. An intelligent breed displaying no signs of aggression or shyness, the Old English Sheepdog is ideal for the home life. With an even disposition, this breed does very well in a herding or working environment. Natural herding instincts are present and would do exceptionally well in country life. Protective and sweet makes this the perfect household companion, and protector of family.
