We have been contacted by a family that needs help with placing their dog in a new home. The dog has bitten children on two occasions, both times in response to inappropriate behavior on the part of the children, whom he did not know. This dog must go where it will not be having to deal with small children.
Snickers is very friendly and well trained, and is good with adults, other smaller dogs, and cats. In the right home he will do very well.
Here's what the owner wrote:

Snickers was originally adopted through the local Humane Society, but the owners have been told if he's returned there he'll be put down due to the bite history.
Snickers is neutered and is currently being boarded at the owner's vet. If you wish to meet him to evaluate his temperament, we can help arrange that. We also know who worked on his training, so can connect you for a professional's opinion of his temperament. Best Friends Training is offering one free lesson with new owners and Snickers if he gets adopted.
Please call Jerry Dunham, not Etosha Rescue, as Snickers is NOT at Etosha.
