Sky

Sky is a 10 year old male dog who was returned to rescue about 3 years after he was adopted. He is a largish dog who weighs 85 pounds. We believe he is mostly GSD but he may have a bit of sled dog in the mix. Sky rides well in the car. He is house trained and is good with women and men. He is a low-maintenance dog who enjoys going on walks. He is happy to spend his day outside and patrolling the yard. He loves his toys and lounging on his dog bed. Sky is looking for his retirement home. He has a few requests. He would like to live in a laid back environment. He would love a home with a fenced yard so he can be outside in the good weather. If his people are gone during the day a doggie door would be a bonus. Sky was previously fostered with other dogs and cats, but hasn't spent one on one time with either since being back with SGSDR. He would likely do best as an only pet, but may be able to blend well with a tolerant and easy going canine friend in a dog savvy home. ------------------- Our Adoption Fees: ------------------- *Dogs and puppies 12 months old or younger: $400 * Adult dogs over 12 months of age: $350 * Senior dogs over 7 years of age qualify for our "Seniors FUREVER" program! Seniors are special to us, so we offer two options: (1) If your heart has a special place for the seniors, you can adopt a senior dog for the regular adoption fee of $350 and this becomes a perpetual fee. You can adopt another SGSDR senior dog at any time from us in the future at NO CHARGE. (2) If you aren't sure about your future adoption capacity, you may adopt your SGSDR senior dog for a reduced adoption fee of $250.
