Skinny - Redtick

Skinny is a purebred redtick coonhound (offical name is English coonhound). about 1-2 yrs old and weighs 46 lbs. She was adopted from the shelter, but the owner brought her back when it turned out Skinny was very pregnant, so much so she nearly died. Skinny is extremely loving and grows attached quickly. She's good with dogs and cats but is a little frightened of men at first. She is learning crate training but is not yet housebroken. Skinny has had a hard time and would love a gentle owner to call her own.

For the $70 adoption fee, this animal has received rabies shot and heartworm test if old enough. It has also received puppy shot, worming, and spay/ neuter--and sometimes a considerable investment of services and treatments.

We set up at our new location on 50 Railroad Street, Sylva, NC every Saturday from noon until 4 or 5 PM. You can also view animals by making an appointment with the foster parent. Get approximate directions from your location.
