Good in a home with
I'm Simone and I was rescued from a location where 20 dogs were all chained up, living outside with little or no protection from the weather. We were all heartworm positive, but now I've gone through treatment and am spayed and ready to be adopted. I know I'd like the chance to make a permanent change! Now that I've been in a foster home, I've learned that sleeping on a soft bed, spending time indoors, and having someone to pet me, brush me, and treat me special are wonderful things. I am still shy, so I do take awhile to adjust to having a lot of human contact--especially with someone I don't even know yet--but could you please be a HERO and save me? I would probably do best in a single-dog setting without kitties, or possibly with a calm friendly male dog as a pal. I hope someone will think I deserve a better life than what I had for so many years on the end of a chain. Your love could make a world of difference to me!
