Simon is an energetic, lively 2 1/2-year-old husky cross. He can live in an apartment if he gets enough daily exercise, but a fenced-in yard would be ideal to prevent him escaping. Very vocal and intelligent, Simon loves exploring and being outdoors. He needs a longer-than-normal adaptation period, and it’s important to be patient and gentle with him.
Simon gets on well with children aged 12 and over, who are calm and respectful. Cohabitation with other dogs or cats is to be assessed, but it is not recommended for a home with cats, as this breed could be predatory. Found as a stray, he’s a little independent but loves the company of humans for games and cuddles.
With his curious and affectionate personality, Simon is looking for a loving family ready to give him the attention and care he needs to blossom to his full potential.
Simon must be neutered before leaving the shelter.
