My Story

Sigmund is a real pip. Oh sure, he was a stray, wandering the streets of Saint Louis County who was found by a very nice vet tech and turned in to Chihuahua Rescue and Transport - you'd think that would make him a tough guy. She was kind enough to keep him at her home for a few days until I could make arrangements to get him from her. During those few days, she found out that this little guy is Mr. Cooperation! He just goes along with the program. Wanna dress him up? Go ahead. Wanna go for a walk on leash? Sure - heck, he'll even run a few steps. Siggy is quiet and affectionate. He loves chewies but can take or leave the toys. He'll go potty outside or on piddle pads but does wear a belly band in the house if he can't be closely supervised. He gets along well with the other dogs in his foster home but is more people oriented. Siggy weighs 5 1/2 pounds. He's a senior guy who has no health issues and is on no medication except for his monthly heartworm preventative. The adoption fee for Sigmund is $200. Each of our dogs is up to date on all shots, including rabies, spayed or neutered, microchipped, fecal tested for internal parasites, treated if necessary, tested for heartworm, treated if necessary, on heartworm preventative and we also take care of dentals or any other medical needs they may have. With your dog, you will receive a health booklet detailing everything that we have done to be sure that they are in the best of health and all spiffed up to be your treasured pet.
