Shira

Shira is a beautiful Sable who has obviously already had a litter of pups! She was found as a stray but had a chip. When the shelter called the owners, they said they had kept the puppies and did not want Shira!! Evidently, they just let her loose and didn't care! How can people do this? She is super-friendly to all the people she meets She rides well in the car and was a perfect passenger in our volunteer's car when she was rescued. She likes to get out and go for walks but she needs to polish her leash manners. The shelter states she gets along with other dogs, but we have not yet had a chance to test her with large or small dogs.
