Hello, my name is Shiloh. I am 2 years old and weigh around 65 pounds. I am very loving but cautious of people I do not know. That’s because some humans were mean to me. I am very beautiful with amber eyes that just make you melt. My coat is very silky soft and I love to be brushed by people that I trust. I love to give and get lots of kisses. I am very smart, love to learn and love to eat treats. When you ask me to “down” I do it so fast, the ground shakes. I will impress you when you ask me to perform commands, but here at the shelter it is difficult to learn with all the barking. I can hardly hear myself think. As far as kids go, the young ones are too active for me and I some times startle easily. I walk nicely on a leash and usually have my nose close to the ground to smell everything. Come and take me for a walk, hopefully to your house so I can broaden the horizons of my education and give you all the love that I am storing up here at the shelter.

__________________________________________ ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS:::

To ensure the HSMC animals are placed into permanent homes, we have a few adoption requirements.
Potential adopters MUST::::

1... Visit The shelter.
2...Complete an adoption application.
3...Present photo identification with current address.
4...Provide verification that animals are allowed in your home. To do this, you must provide one of the following:
*****.Your landlord's name and telephone number and a renter's lease if available.
*****.Proof of home ownership (a deed, mortgage paper, payment book)
5... All family members who will be living with the animal must be present at the time of adoption.
6....Show proof that companion animals that are currently living in the home are up-to-date on rabies and distemper vaccinations or your veterinarian's name and telephone number.

ADOPTION FEES

Dog $80.00

Cat (1year and over) $60.00

Kitten (5 - 11 months) $60.00

Kitten (under 5 months) $60.00

All adoption fees include sterilization, a permanent identification to help protect animals from loss or theft called a microchip, primary vaccinations and a certificate for a free veterinary examination. >

Our services don't come to an end once an adoption match is made! We continue our commitment to the animals by providing follow-up calls that offer individual support during the animal's adjustment to a new home. We also offer classes to teach basic obedience commands and our pet behavior seminars offer problem solving and prevention for owners or those considering adoption.
