Shiba has a terribly sad backstory- she is the only survivor of a fire that killed her family. She prefers a single female owner, with a quiet lifestyle and not too many visitors. Shiba truly cannot live with men, and we will not consider a home with a male resident. She does just fine being walked with men and interacting with them outside, but no matter how well she gets to know them, she just does not want to share her home with one. This beautiful girl is now about 5 years old, and has waited long enough for her person to find her. We know that she needs a special home, but we have to believe there is one just perfect for her.
