Sherman

Sherman is so enthusiastic to begin his new life after being rescued. He had been abandoned in a park and despite being only three months old he found a way to survive there for over a week before two good samaritans brought him to safety. Naturally he was very afraid at first but in just a few days with love and attention he began to blossom into an eager, playful puppy. Recently moved to a new foster home, Sherman has won the hearts of the entire family. He is easy-going, quick to learn and his foster mom describes him simply as the easiest sweetest puppy she has ever fostered! He loves to play with all of the other dogs, but is quick to submit if his puppy exhuberance gets him in trouble with the big guys! He is now completely house and crate trained and loves to glue himself to the side of any family member who pays the slightest attention to him. He naps on the teenage son's bed, loves his squeaky toys, gives the best kisses and is happy just to hang out and enjoy whatever the family is doing. He loves everyone he meets and is even working on an appreciation for cats! We would love for Sherman to go into a home with another dog or with someone who can provide him with lots of doggy play dates since now at four months old and such a baby still he seeks that companionship.
