Sheldon is a 7-year-old male border collie mix. He was picked up as a stray so we don’t know his history, but how someone could let this dog go is the real mystery. He is calm, affectionate, smart (named Sheldon for his impressive IQ), and nicely trained. He knows sit, shake, down, stay, and he comes when called. He’s great on a leash and is perfectly house-trained. He’s also well behaved with other dogs and gets along with cats and even chickens. He loves to chase a ball or frisbee. Sheldon sometimes gets that border collie stare, with his head held low as he watches something intently, but he’s only curious. He might herd a flock of sheep if given a chance.
