Sheldon was in bad shape. He came to BHRG from Cobb County animal control, and he has mange and heartworms. The good news is that Sheldon has now gotten the care he so desperately needed. This boy is about 4 years old and is now microchipped and healthy. He is a gorgeous hound! Sheldon is super-sweet and loves to snuggle. We enjoys stuffed toys and bones and is playful with our other bassets in his foter home. He behaves well with kids and even kisses the cat! Sheldon walks well on a leash and comes when called everytime although he's always inside the house or fenced yard because we don't want him to get lost again. This tri-colored boy is housebroken and crate-trained. What a wonderful basset for some lucky family!
