Shelby is a wonderful bulldog mix. She was rescued from an animal control pound as an unclaimed stray. She is young, maybe one year old. Shelby gets along with other dogs and loves to play. Shelby loves people and children. In foster care, Shelby uses a doggy door with no accidents. Shelby weighs 50 pounds.

Shelby is spayed, utd shots, kennel cough vaccinated, heartworm tested and dewormed. Her adoption donation is $125. We require an adoption application, references, adoption contract and home visit. We only adopt to families in SD, MN, NE, ND, IA.

Important things to know before you contact us:

If you are out of state, it does take time to process your application and find a home visitor from another rescue to do your visit. Please be SERIOUS about adopting a dog from our rescue before submitting an application.

The application is the first step. After we receive and approve a completed application, we will schedule a home visit.

Almost Home is run from foster homes. We have no facility for the public to come in and view pets.

We do not ship our dogs.
