She is a beautiful australian shepherd mix who is approx 5 years old. She is a bit wary of strangers but warms up once she knows you. Sheila would do well with older children who will respect her space but small children may be too much for her(she does not like to be grabbed and yanked on). Sheila seems to prefer women to men.So a single woman living alone might be a perfect match for Sheila as she would make a good watch dog. She will bark to alert and is protective of her "people". Sheila would not do well with cats but does well with some other dogs(non-dominant) but would probably like an only dog household best where she gets all of the attention.Sheila walks well on a leash, is crate trained and most likely housebroken-although we do not guarantee this). Since Sheila is an adult dog, she is not overly hyper and has settled out of the anxious puppy stage. Sheila would probably benefit most from a quiet home where she can have some playtime in the backyard or go for walks with her owner but can come home and relax at your feet at the end of the day. Loud homes with a lot going on might not be a great match for this girl as she does seem to be sensitive to a chaotic environment. Sheila is current on vacc and has been well cared for. She will be spayed prior to going home.
