This young man is still very much a puppy. Because he was found abandoned, he is very excited about receiving attention. He likes to play ball and eagerly chases it down but, in his hurry to receive praise, he forgets to return the treasure. Sharpie has apparently had little opportunity for training and is hesitant about walking on a leash. Puppy classes would help Sharpie and his new human with behavior and bonding. An older dog in the home, also, would provide a model for this pup to learn the manners and expectations of a new household.
