Shane

In the dark of night his family skipped town and left Shane behind. Just opened up the backyard gate and then drove away. The neighbors said there was another dog too, but that one has vanished. This sweet boy was terrified -- and hungry -- he'd eat whatever was thrown his way... Dedicated, loving volunteers finally caught him and -- guess what? He has turned out to be the happiest, most affectionate little dog in our shelter! We know he likes other dogs and he appears to even like cats. We are all hoping for a wonderful FOREVER home for Shane soon!!!

Collierville Animal Services staff and volunteers socialize and work with our adoptable dogs on a daily basis. Most are leash trained and kennel trained upon adoption. CAS dogs eagerly await the chance to be your new best friend!

Adoption Fee: $85 which includes microchipping with registration, Collierville Rabies license & tag, ID tag, spay/neuter, heartworm test, flea/tick and heartworm preventatives, worming, and age appropriate vaccinations.

Cash or check only -- Sorry, we do not take debit or credit cards.

ADOPTION HOURS:

Tuesday through Saturday, from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Special adoption or “Meet & Greet” appointments available.
