Shaggy came to our rescue due to some separation anxiety issues. He currently resides with other senior dachshunds in his foster home and is very happy. He has bonded with one of his foster dads and definitely likes men better than women! He is very cautious around strangers and unfamiliar places. He is an absolute gem. Shaggy loves to go for car rides and dashes for the front door when he hears the jingle car keys. He is ready to go! He sleeps on the big bed at night curled up next to his favorite foster dad; sets next to his foster dad in the computer chair or cuddled up on the couch. Where ever his dad is, is where Shaggy has to be! He is leash trained and understands 'Go outside'? His foster dads have not seen any separation issues. Won't you give this senior guy a place to curl up and relax? Shaggy needs that one special person that he can love and follow everywhere.
