My name is Shae and I recently arrived at Houston Boxer rescue after my Mom was deployed to Afghanistan for the military. She had to give me and my sister, Roxie, up since there was no family to take care of us while she served our country. We would love to go to our forever home together, but understand that this may not be able to happen.

I am a one year old cutie with cropped ears. Don’t let my looks scare you, I am actually a little on the shy side. It takes me a bit to trust people, but once I do you will have tons of tail-wagging love from me. All I want to do is be loved and petted. My foster Dad says I have the sweetest face ever!!

I am crate trained and love to run in the yard with Roxie and my foster brother and sister. I am great with other dogs, but have not been around cats yet. I was around kids with my first family. I am learning to be house trained and to walk gently on the leash.

When I first came to my foster parents I was content to make a toy out of a pinecone or any old stick in the yard. But, they have these great toys that are colorful and make fun noises. So, my foster sister and I are having fun playing fetch in the backyard with real toys!!
