My name is SERPICO, I've had a bit of a ruff start - but thinks are really lookin up! I am an approx. 12 - 16 month old blue Doberman, tail docked, dew claws removed, with natural ears. My coat looks great! Luckily I made my way to the Lied Animal Shelter on 7/18/06 where I caught the attention of my foster mom. I had been beaten up pretty bad (more than once) by another dog (possibly another dog at my home). Some of my outward scares are permanent, but inside I am forgiving and EXTREMELY friendly! I am good with other dogs - all sizes and genders - I REALLY want to play! I find cats exciting - worth a good game of chase, but in the end I am very sweet. I am learning to be very good on a leash and in a crate. If you have time to devote to an intelligent and kind breed such as mine, please call my foster mom, Timmari, and come to visit! 252-0790
We are requesting an adoption donation to help offset the vet expenses we have incurred. We do also require an adoption contract and a home visit to ensure the back yard is securely fenced.
