My Story

I may be 14 years old, but I sure don't act like it! I love every dog I meet, grew up with cats and got along. I absolutely am a sociable guy and enjoy being out on walks with new smells and new people and dogs along the way. Want to get out more? I can help with that. My first years were spent in an outdoor kennel, so I am crazy about indoor beds and comfort. I still like being out in a fenced yard where I can rub my face in the grass and enjoy that I'm not in a kennel, but walking gets me pretty excited and wears me out. So far, in the hot weather, I walk 30 minutes in the morning and evening. So if you don't have a fenced yard for me to roan in, no problem. I'm pretty good on my leash, too. Since I am only 20 some pounds, my foster mom has taught me to use indoor pee pads so if you are working or have to leave me for a few hours, no problem for me. While I love other animals, I am okay with being alone if I have to. I still love going outside to do my business, too, and signal to the humans by circling faster and faster. When I first got to my foster home, she asked me to sleep in a kennel. I was not crazy about that so I sleep in a bed in my very own room (the kitchen)! I sometimes wander into the kennel for a nap when no one is looking. The door is always open, so why not. I was originally given the name of Sepheroth, but my foster mom calls me Seth. I am learning to come when my name is called and trying to learn sit. Who says you can't teach an older dog new tricks?!! They say I am a Parson/Jack Russell terrier mix. My foster mom says that means I'm smart! From Seth's foster mom: Seth is so loving and craves attention. He will sit with me and when he's done, he gets in a dog bed next to me. He loves brushing and combing, chin scratches. He has learned so much in the two weeks he's been here. He is very smart and would be an excellent companion. I think walks and hanging out in the yard are his favorite things, but I've noticed that he is very sociable so he will make sure you meet someone on your walks or when you are out and about. If you think Seth could be a good fit, contact us to arrange a meeting.
