Seniors Holly & Noelle need a HERO for the Holidays (Neglected Bonded Pair)

Hello! The rescue calls us their Holiday Hero Hound girls; Noelle and Holly! We were rescued from a terrible neglect situation. We lived outside in a 10x10 kennel our whole lives and have the lumps and bumps to prove it. After our owner died, his family threatened to shoot us so the rescue immediately stepped in. We were emaciated and in rough shape but we are at the vet, getting up to date on our immunizations, treated for heartworm and getting some TLC. We will be ready for our forever home in a couple weeks and our dream would be a Christmas in a warm bed as part of a family! We are about 7 years old or so but the years outside have taken their toll. In spite of this, we are very very sweet gals. Once we learn about house living, we should be content to couch potato and cuddle and enjoy the comforts of regular food and shelter! We might even discover toys and treats and loving pets from humans! Is there anyone at all out there who might have room in their home and hearts for a pair of senior gals that just need a loving retirement home?
