My Story

Scrappy is a darling 10-month-old dog, despite his young age, he has already been through a lot, having been abandoned by his previous owners and left to fend for himself. He arrived at the shelter on 7/17/24. He's now looking for a loving forever home where he can receive the care and attention he deserves. Scrappy weighs 24 pounds. He is up to date on his vaccines and will be neutered, microchipped, and heart worm tested before adoption. Scrappy is as precious as they come. He has a playful nature and can keep himself entertained for hours with a rope toy or a squeaky toy. He's attentive and eager to please, always ready to sit for treats. If looking for a loyal and playful friend, Scrappy is the guy for you. Come meet him and see if he's the right fit for your home! He is waiting at RUN 89, ID 660349. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER. This pet is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, (770) 499-4136. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heartworm or combo test and a microchip.
