Scooter

Scooter was rescued after he was observed tied in the back of a pick up truck, being driven to animal control to be dumped. While he was in the parking lot, he jumped out of the pick up and was still tied, and he was so hot on the black tar pavement, jumping around and yelping...poor guy! We saw this happen and came to help him. We told the man to let us take him instead of dumping him off. He said a friend had given him the dog and that he had chewed his kids toys and was too big!!

So it was Scooter's lucky day to have the suckers from Lucky Dog Rescue end up right next to the pick up he was in when arriving at animal control. Scooter came back with us and is now safe and sound!!

Scooter is about 6 months old and looks to be a mix of australian shepherd and a larger breed - we aren't sure what! He's a beautiful dog and has a soft, shiny coat. He'll make a wonderful companion.
