1 - 2 year old Scooter is one of the nicest dogs we have ever had here. He is happy, enthusiastic, gets along with everyone and everything - just truly wonderful. Scooter had a run in with a car prior to coming to us and lost a rear leg. Though we have listed Scooter as "Special Needs", the only real special need he has is a carpeted or rough surfaced floor (he has trouble with traction on slick surfaces), and no or few steps. To see him running and playing, you would never know he has a limb missing - he is NOT a handicapped dog - he does just fine with his 3 legs.
