Scooter

Some caring people found scooter as a stray. They took him into their home and hoped that he could stay with them. It would have worked out just fine except that they have three cats and unfortunately, Scooter does not like cats very much. They assured us that Scooter does well with other dogs, is housetrained and is good with children. He came to our facility and he has been settling in very well. Scooter walks very well on a lead and just loves attention. Scooter is now neutered, vaccinated, wormed, had his nails trimmed and frontline applied and is ready to find a home where he will be able to stay for the remainder of his life. Scooter is a medium size dog, and we thought he was a Border collie mix, but have been told that he is a Karnelian Bear Dog mix. He is a young boy, about 1 year old and weighs about 50 lbs. SCOOTER NEEDS PLENTY OF ROOM TO RUN AND WOULD DO BEST IN THE COUNTRY ON ACREAGE. THE PEOPLE WHO ADOPTED HIM LOVED HIM VERY MUCH BUT THE LANDLORD WASN'T SO HAPPY WITH SCOOTER GETTING OUT OF THEIR FENCE. HE DOES WONDERFULLY WITH CHILDREN AND IS GOOD IN THE HOUSE. HE DOESN'T PARTICULARLY LIKE BEING ALONE.
