All Planned Pethood dogs and puppies are altered (spayed/neutered) and fully vetted prior to adoption. Dog breed is a best guess by the vet and/or Petfinder breed expert findings. We cannot guarantee breed, weight, age of dogs or final adult size of puppies.

Attention all you big dog lovers, this is the guy for you. Scooby was rescued from an area dog pound where he came in as a stray. Everyone (including spouses) loved him at the pound and didn't want to see him euthanized. Scooby is about 2 yrs old and looks to be a newfie/great dane mix. He walks well on a leash. Scooby does well with other dogs, cats and loves kids. He rides great in a car, you'll just need a car big enough to fit him in (no smart cars for this boy). He is a giant couch potato who just wants a family to love him. If you have a pond or creek for him to swim in, he would be eternally grateful. This is his favorite pastime. He will need a daily brushing to keep the shedding under control, but no problem, he just lays down and lets you brush away. If you have the space and then you will fall in love with this wonderful cuddly dog.
