Schaefer is a pure-bred German Shepherd who needs a loving home with someone familiar with the breed. He was DNA tested and it was confirmed he is 100% GSD. He is 110 pounds and just a year old, so he is a big boy who needs room to run! His perfect home is somewhere with acreage and a fenced property. He does well with other dogs of all sizes - he has been fostered with dogs ranging from 10 pounds to 80+ pounds.
He will require training and structure to mold him into the perfect dog, but he is very smart so we don't think this will be an issue.
He has been at the rescue since he was only 8 weeks old. We want him to finally find a home.
We require his new family to have no young children or cats.
