Scarlett is a female Dalmatian who is around 5 years of age. Scarlett and her sister, Peaches, were rescued from a shelter by a local vet tech after the family brought them to the shelter to be put down because "the children wouldn't take care of them". The rescuer, having a soft spot for Dals, pulled them girls and took them home. Scarlett is a great dog! She has less black on her face than her sister and she has beautiful spotting over the body. She is housetrained though she shouldn't be left unattended as she sometimes still has the urge to chew if she gets bored. She would have to be crated when you left or put in a secure, safe area where she could not do harm to herself or anything else. Scarlett loves kids and loves to play outside. She is great with the other dogs, cats and even small dogs, though interaction between smaller pets should be monitored due to Scarlett's larger size. She loves to go to the park and loves to play with the squirrels. She has shown no aggressiveness towards anyone, human or animal, though she will need to be fed away from other dogs as she can be possessive around her food. But just with other dogs as human can play in her bowl and everything while she is eating with not even a flinch. Scarlett has been spayed, heartworm tested, vaccinations, started on flea and heartworm preventative. She had a skin infection when she was rescued but it has almost cleared up now and she should be fine.
