Scarlett

Scarlett is a mini dachshund red smooth coat in dark red. She lived her life in a cage as a breeder but she is learning to be a companion pet while living in her foster home. She does want attention and allows her foster to pick her up. She has no aggressions of food and is learning that there are toys for pups. She feels comfortable around other dogs and is a follower not the leader. She approximately 4 years old and would do best in a home with another dachshund any age. She is very small and weight is around 11 lb. She is needing to gain a small amount. She is up to date on all vaccines, bordetello, chip, heartworm negative and spay. Available for adoption after 8/15 Our rescue organization adopts within the following states: Kentucky, Ohio, Tennessee, Illinois, Indiana and Missouri. A fully fenced yard is required to be considered for adoption (no underground fencing). ) All our dogs are spayed/neutered and have been fully vetted including being current on vaccinations.
