Savannah- Purebred

Savannah is a very pretty girl. Her eyes match her fur, so she is just beautiful! Savannah is a 2-year-old, purebred, American Pit Bull Terrier. She was abandoned by her owner, who left town. Luckily, the owner called his ex-wife and told her that he had left her behind so she could take care of her. Unfortunately, the ex-wife had no place to call home and couldn’t keep her. So, we were lucky enough to have room for her and saved her life.

Savannah is a very good girl. She enjoys snuggling and playing with her brother. She also enjoys playing fetch with her tennis ball. She always has to be showing a tennis ball off to you. She does fine with cats and gets along with other dogs. She has been around older children (ages 7 and 9). She doesn’t have a mean bone in her body.

She has begun her Basic Obedience training. She is just so excited for the attention, it’s hard to get her to quite wiggling! She will require a home visit prior to adoption.

Savannah does have seasonal allergies that are controlled with inexpensive diphenhydramine twice daily.

Who can give this friendly girl the life she deserves? If you are really in love with APBTs, maybe you could adopt her brother, Trooper, too! They have been through a lot together and are very attached to each other.

This dog's adoption fee is $265 (plus tax). This includes being spayed, current on Rabies, Distemper, and Bordetella vaccinations, vet checked, wormed, microchipped with the HomeAgain microchip, heartworm tested (negative) and medicated during the heartworm season (May-Dec) while in our care, and is currently learning Basic Obedience commands and good doggie manners.
