Sauce Box

This guy is a lovebug. We call him Saucy (affectionately), for short! Look at those big, sweet eyes calling out to you! Sauce Box is adorable and sweet but nervous initially because he came from a home with many, many animals and he just wasn't exposed to the outside world very much. But he's slowly learning about all the things in the world! And he's made a lot of growth regarding his confidence level while here with us at the shelter. Sauce Box is only around 45 lbs. and he's definitely shorter than your average Boxer. He's not yet completely comfortable walking on a leash, but if you take off his leash while he's in the yard, he will run around and play and receive pets and affection from friends. He is also absolutely skilled at play bows and the mini zoomies. An expert, really. Sauce Box may be able to live successfully with another dog, pending a dog meeting here at the shelter to ensure personalities might be a match. We don't know how he would do with a cat. He's looking for an adult-only home (teens might be okay) with a fenced yard.
