Update: 5/18/06 I HAVE BEEN ADOPTED!! Sassy has finally found her forever home! CONGRATULATIONS TO SASSY & HER NEW PARENTS! 5/13/06: Sassy has returned to us and is looking for a forever home. Sassy is a terrific little dog who needs someone to love and who will love her. If you would be interested in giving this little girl a home, please e-mail your interest and fill out an adoption application. 9/14/05 Sassy is heartworm positive but has started on HWP , she has been spayed, vacc, and microchipped. She is crate trained.Sassy has made a remarkable turn around in her personality..we could not even get near her at first and now my kids can pet her and she is really a very SWEET girl! I think that she would be fine in a loving home who would give her the opportunity to learn to trust them. SASSY'S STORY:Sassy was rescued from one of our local kill shelters. She ended up there because her owner passed away and the family did not want Sassy or her buddies. Her friends ended up getting adopted but Sassy couldn't find a home. Her time was running out. Sassy is a little skittish-wouldn't you be if your world was turned upside down and you were taken to some strange place?But she has not bitten or even attempted to so I think that she is just very scared and with some love and understanding, she will come out of her shell and make a warm, loving pet. Sassy would probably do best in a home without small children just because she is scared. A quiet home with loving people would be perfect for this litttle girl.
