Sassie is about 7 years old. She came to us from a local shelter where she ended up when her owner could no longer care for her. Unfortunately, when she came to us, she had diabetes that had not been controlled. She has received proper vet care and is now on insulin shots. She is doing wonderful. She is very active and healthy except for the diabetes. She has cataracts from the diabetes so has very poor eye sight but this does not stop her from getting around very well on her own. She is very housebroken. She is currently in a foster home with a doggy door, and she will take herself out on her own. She is very sweet and loving and loves to be snuggled.
