Update, 2/13: Tasha and Sasha are coming along nicely and are almost ready for adoption. Tasha’s challenge is meeting new people and learning to trust them, and Sasha still needs to work on her comfort level with new dogs. To people and dogs they know, Tasha and Sasha are very playful and affectionate. They will need patient and knowledgable owners that will understand how to react to their fear, but will also expose them to varied experiences to gain their confidence.
Sasha and her sister Tasha were surrendered to animal control. They are between 3-4 months old (March 2010), and are believed to be Jindo, a Korean breed. Sasha’s ears currently lie flatter than her sisters, but breed descriptions say that they will stand upright around 6 months of age. They should be around 40lbs full-grown.
Sasha and Tasha were likely never handled in their previous home as they are currently VERY fearful of being picked up, and even touched on their sides and back. We’re working with them to get them to trust people. At this point they are not ready to be adopted, but check back soon for updates.
Not yet ready to adopt? You can sponsor a pet now to help pay for medical expenses, special diets, toys and treats, emergency medical care, etc., to provide for him or her during foster care. Our adoption fee rarely covers our expenses, so any size donation is appreciated!

All of our dogs are fostered in our homes so we know their temperaments. They are spayed or neutered, up to date on shots, de-wormed, heartworm tested (and treated if necessary), and on flea prevention. Our adoption fee is $125.00 for all of our dogs and puppies. Our goal is to match our animals to the best home possible. Please email
