My Story

Sarge is a 5 year old Mastiff weighing in at 165 pounds. He thinks he is a lap dog....ya gotta have a pretty big lap for him to sit on. Sarge loves people but is a bit timid and unsure when his surroundings change. Sarge has to get used to his new surroundings before he feels safe. When he arrived in Rescue it took him about a week to get comfortable. He kept running and hiding in a crate if you even raised your voice. He is great now...loves everyone that comes around...is protective of his yard/space with strangers though. Sarge is too big to be around small children. He does fine with older children and teenagers. A lot of noise will send him hiding. Sarge loves to be brushed and petted. He is good on a leash...doesn't particularly care for riding in the car...again-it goes back to his comfort zone is in things he knows. Sarge would be an excellent companion for the right family. Sarge is no trouble in the house at all...doesn't bother a thing. He is also crate trained. This boy is worth a second look.

ADOPTION FEE: $200 (Fully Vetted).
