Samson

...ADOPTED!...Male, black with brown, 12 pounds, approximately 1.5 years old, This is Samson, a 1 1/2 year old male. Samson is a very sweet dog who needs a foster home. Right now he is in a home with many other foster dogs, and he is becoming anxious and unhappy. This is compounded because he is living in a home with other foster dogs who come and go, meaning that he has little stability in terms of canine companions. His wonderful foster, who is a small dog specialist, thinks he would do best in a quiet home with a patient human or patient humans.

Samson is quite frightened of men, probably due to something that happened in his previous home. We don't want this fear to haunt him forever (we are talking about 50 percent of the world's population, after all), but he'll need patience to overcome it. He is so sweet -- it just breaks our heart to realize that he is not thriving despite our best efforts. Do you have the love and patience to work with this little guy, who tries so hard to be brave?
