Sammy is a very sweet Old English Sheepdog. He may have just turned 2 but he’s very much like big puppy.
He lost his home when his owner became very ill and could no longer care for him.
Sammy has a lot of energy. So, his new forever family will need to give him plenty of exercise and stimulation. A fenced-in yard would definitely be a plus!
Sammy doesn’t necessarily know his own strength and tends to pull on the leash when walking. His new forever family will also need to continue working on his leash training.
He’s good with people and other dogs, But, because of his size and strength, we recommend a home with no small children.
Sammy is house and crate trained. He’s neutered and up to date on his vaccinations. Sammy is a happy wild child and will make a great companion for the right family. Applications can be found at www.fowarescue.org. His adoption fee is $500.
