Sammy is an 11 year old, very sweet ASCOB (Any Solid Color Other than Black) or buff Cocker. His elderly owner was already having difficulties with her health and a stroke finally made it impossible for her to continue to care for Sammy. She had had him since he was a tiny puppy and all he knew was her. But despite his limited life experiences, he has adjusted amazingly well at the shelter. He actually seems to enjoy the activity! We have had him groomed and he goes out with a very diverse group of playmates. He also doesn't seem to have any significant health issues despite being in his senior years. But he would certainly like to get on with learning a new family's routine!!!
