Sammy is the biggest lovebug you'll ever have the privilege of meeting! He's a 6 year old, 75lb shepherd mix who adores people and other dogs, and he's even great with children!
Sammy loves toys and can often be seen carrying plushies around with him. He'll even occasionally get in the mood to play with other dogs. Mostly though, his favorite thing to do is snooze on the couch, the bed, or in a sunny patch outside. After having lived in the shelter for some time, he takes full advantage of life and loves spending time outside.
Sammy is an older gentleman, so he does best with dogs who won't pester him too much or try to dominate him. He's so chill overall but he will stand up for himself if needed! He is unfortunately not a fan of cats, so he'll need to go to a feline-free home. Sammy is HW+, but is undergoing treatment and should be rid of them soon.
Sammy is located in Houston TX but can be transported to most US states for adoption.
