Given my maturity and intellect, I have developed a calm and gentle demeanor that makes me your ideal companion. I love to go on walks, but I also know that some of the most important things are a good treat and a comfortable spot to get an ear scratch. I am great with humans of all ages, even toddlers. My quiet nature extends to home, where I rarely bark and will make myself comfortable in my crate. Upon accepting a new cat or dog into the organization, we provide a basic vet visit that includes necessary vaccinations, disease screenings, deworming, microchips, and spay/neuter for dogs six months and older. We do not provide a comprehensive medical exam before adoption. As a result, sickness, injury, and disability may exist unbeknownst to CDCK. City Dogs & City Kitties Rescue is not responsible for payment of any vet care, including known and unknown medical conditions once a cat or dog is adopted from us. Dog specific: Rabies, DHPP, Lepto and Bordetella vaccines. They are tested for HW, Lyme, Ehrlichia, Anaplasmosis. Most cats and dogs will have a house-training accident in the initial days in their new home and we cannot guarantee any pet is housebroken or crate trained.
